The RacFit Foundation is thankful to be included in Pat Green’s 9th Annual Best of the West Concert. We extend our sincere thanks to Pat and the event organizers for supporting our mission alongside so many other great causes.
Out West is bringing one of the defining voices of Texas country back to West Texas for a night built for the fans who know the songs, know the words, and know there’s nothing quite like hearing them live.
Pat Green’s story started just up the road in Lubbock, where he began playing bars and clubs while attending Texas Tech University. What followed was a career that helped shape an entire generation of Texas country music — packed dance halls, sold-out shows, major tours and songs that became part of the soundtrack of Texas.
From “Carry On” and “Three Days” to “Take Me Out to a Dancehall,” “Texas on My Mind,” “Let Me,” “Girls From Texas” and the unmistakable opening notes of “Wave on Wave,” Pat Green has spent decades making the kind of music that was meant to be heard with a crowd singing right along.
And now, Midland gets its turn.
Out West Presents Pat Green live at the Midland County Horseshoe for a night of Texas country, old favorites and the songs that still hit just as hard as the first time you heard them.
